There are no words to describe just how incredibly AWESOME Carmel & Killian’s wedding day was. With so many incredible DIY touches (the bride only went and made all the bridesmaid dresses herself!) to a day filled with sunshine, laughter and tears (so many tears)Read More
When Carmel & Killian were up for doing their engagement photographs in Drago Lounge in Newport I got pretty excited. I got even more excited when they said they were going to bring along Bruce, their pug!Read More
This is a blog post that every wedding photographer never imagines they'll have to write. It's hard to know even where to begin. Just over a year ago I photographed Lucy & Andy's beautiful, fun-filled yurt wedding in Shropshire. They were one of the most adventurous and chilled-out couples that I've had the pleasure of knowing and their wedding day was a reflection of that.
Both experienced climbers, Lucy & Andy were celebrating their one year wedding anniversary in Yosemite's El Capitan. They were preparing for a climb last week when they were caught in a terrible rock slide.
Andy died fulfilling his role as a husband in the most profound and loving way that he could. He laid his life down to save Lucy's. As a wife, my heart completely breaks for Lucy and my prayers are with her and the rest of the family at this time.Read More

Robert & Leanne's wedding was a stunningly elegant wedding at the Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, with beautiful rustic touches thrown in. Golden fields, lavender, vineyards, laughs, love... all drenched in the soft sunset light of Pont d'Arc, Ardeche. We didn't really have a plan or even any ideas for the photographs; we simply spent the evening wondering aimlessly and enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the landscape around us.Read More
Hush, Can you hear it?
The rustling in the grass,
Bringing you the welcome news
Winter's day is past.
Cat & Rhy's wedding was fun, quirky & chilled out, very much like Cat & Rhys themselves! Cat opted for a pair of white converse trainers instead of traditional wedding shoes. That's how chilled these guys are.Read More
Women give birth every single day all across the world. Babies are born every single second. It's not an uncommon thing to see a baby or to know someone who has one. And yet when I see these beautiful little tiny humans I can't help but look at them with complete awe. Science is amazing but it can only explain so much. How this little person with their individual personality and character quirks came to be alive is incredible. It's miraculous. And speaking to a newborn's parents you can see they're also completely in awe of this little miracle.Read More
When Pete & Cecy first met with me, they were already married. Yep, you read that right. They had a beautiful wedding in Cecy's home country of Bolivia about 4 months previously...Read More
Gillian & Matt had a beautifully intimate wedding with only a handful of close friends. We had fun taking some photographs (and chasing chickens) at Usk Castle. The way this pair looked at each other made my heart melt. Have a look and see...Read More
